About Genesis:
Your personal design slave
For as long as she could remember, Genesis was smitten with Apple computers. Gazing into store windows as a child in 1986, she proclomated she was going to "own an Apple computer" when she "growed up". The fascination was only emphasised in computer labs in elementary school where she played with drawing and paint softwares instead of doing her work. Much to her dismay, the school didn't allow ALL classes to be in the computer lab!
She carried that love of design and computers over into her college years where she dabbled in traditional art classes and basic computer programming classes. It wasn't until 1997 that she was finally introduced to the internet. She spent countless hours on the computer surfing web sites trying to figure out how they functioned. Although her original major was English, she finally decided to turn her passion into a career and entered into various design programs in different schools before finally entering into the Academy of Art for Digital Communications. She felt with a combination of traditional fine art plus digital training, she could offer clients the best of both worlds for well rounded marketing materials.
After accumulating 13 years of experience with companies such as Clear Channel Communications, Intuit and Mad Dogg Athletics, she now works with her partner, Terri Keefer, who specializes in Photography Art from their studio in northern Los Angeles County. Together they offer services such as web design, print material design, photography/photo editing, and videography.
And by the way, Genesis finally has Mac Computers. :)

The design industry is an ever changing one. Education doesn't stop once you leave school. As members of NAPP, AIGA and other educational resources, we travel throughout the year to different conferences and trade shows to learn new software, methods and technologies. We want to provide you with the latest and greatest the industry has to offer.
We are a boutique team
A big agency in a multi-million dollar building? Nah. Been there and done that.
With no fancy offices other than our on-site studio, we don't have to inflate your rates to pay for absorbant overhead. We actually prefer coming to you and your business to get a better feel for your services and business plans.
Simply put, we don't have to charge big agency prices so why should you pay them?
We believe in quality
There are many designers/developers and firms that advertise low-ball prices on design work with lightening speed turn-around times. This is usually because they repurpose the same template over and over. All of this while your project goes through their process like a conveyer belt - creating it bit by bit with no focused time or energy on your design or functionality. We are the opposite.
We are a very small creative team that has a background in fine art, advertising, digital communications, photography and journalism. We literally pine over your design, picking it apart to make sure it is not only attractive but user friendly. We want your business to be successful. When you look bad, so do we.
We give back
Let's face it, life isn't ALL about making as much money as you can. It's also about giving back to people and our beautiful planet that gives us so much everyday.
We are patrons and active volunteers for many non-profits that are near and dear to us such as: Women for Women International, The Humane Society of the United States, Karma Rescue, Shambala Wildlife Preserve, and Feed the Children.
We are on time and on budget
We determine the scope of the project, create a budget and timeline, and once they’re approved, we stick to them. Just to make sure, we do weekly status checks on progress and deadlines to keep everyone – you included – on track.
We like what we do
