My name is Genesis, and I’m a graphic designer and photographer based out of Los Angeles County, CA. Everyday I get to live my passion, and I’m convinced I’m the luckiest person in the world!
I grew up and graduated high school in south Mississippi although I had a few detours living in Germany, Texas, and San Diego (just to name a few). My mother was a vagabond and she completely rubbed off on me. I’ve traveled to over a dozen countries and 30 U.S. states. I usually can’t sit still for more than three weeks before I get antsy to take a road trip (preferably to wine country)!
I’ve called Los Angeles my home for 10 years, and I’ve been a designer for nearly 15 years. I also had a brief stint with Reality Television in 1997 when I was cast as a housemate on the MTV reality show The Real World: Boston. As if once wasn’t enough I did “all stars” shows such as Battle of the Sexes I and II for MTV just four years later. I am undeniably an alumni of reality television, and I still live my life as an open book to this day.
Even though I’m a California girl now, I’m still country at heart. Put a plate of fried chicken and biscuits in front of me, and I’ll show you how it’s done!
